While Days Bakery and the building in Ashwell have been baking since 1741, it's possible that there may have been a bakery operating on the site under a different name before the establishment of Days Bakery

In our 282-year-long history, we have had some legendary bakers, including Howard Day and head baker Clive. We still remember the last head baker who passed down the knowledge of how to make every item out of the bakery fresh and delicious.
